What is this network?

The Nodle Network is a decentralized wireless network designed to offer a global, easy-to-use, decentralized communications network for IoT devices. It is composed of Nodle Edge Nodes, powered by the Nodle Chain, and the NODL token. The network is designed to monetize hardware and IoT devices by allowing Network Contributors to share their communications resources to enable connectivity for the network. These contributors become part of a shared, interoperable “Citizen Network,” and are incentivized to scale the network through a Proof of Connectivity™ algorithm. This algorithm is based on the number of base stations, network bandwidth, and geographic coverage. The Nodle Network is deployed via the addition of software running on wireless devices such as smartphones, routers, fixed base stations, drones, vehicles, and other connected devices.

How can I mine tokens?

Tokens on the Nodle Network, known as NODL, can be mined by participating in the network and contributing resources such as wireless radio and bandwidth. This is achieved by enabling your smartphone to provide these resources. In exchange for their contribution, participants get rewarded with Nodle Cash. The amount of rewards you receive depends on your contribution to building the Nodle network and is calculated based on app time availability, Bluetooth availability, and geographical coverage. Rewards are calculated every 15 minutes based on a node's network contribution metrics and are allocated to a node's wallet every 4 hours.

Any geographical restrictions?

The Nodle Network has worldwide coverage with no roaming restrictions. It is designed to scale in urban areas and does not require the deployment of new hardware infrastructure, making it an economically viable long-term opportunity to connect a new array of devices.

How can I optimize my mining rewards?

To maximize your rewards, ensure that the Nodle app runs 24/7 either in the foreground or background. Moving as much as possible can create wider coverage, contributing to the network's growth. If you have multiple devices with the Nodle or the Hotspot apps, then keep a maximum of 4 of them in one location. If you have more, then place them far away from each other.

How can I use the network?

By downloading the Nodle app, you become a “node”, participating in the network and earning rewards in return. The more people join, the more powerful the network becomes. Every smartphone is a “node” just waiting to get to work. Smartphones become nodes by locating and connecting devices within the network. The nodes receive rewards based on connectivity and availability, which varies by location.

Who governs this network?

The Nodle Network is governed by Nodle International and its subsidiaries. They are responsible for the privacy of the website visitors and the Nodle app users. They have built a Bluetooth Low Energy-powered network to help companies and cities connect and collect data from devices, sensors, and tags.

Funding

The Nodle Network is funded through the issuance of its native cryptocurrency, NODL. The first participants received tokens as network rewards incentives. The rest of the un-mined tokens will be issued through the issuance process.
